During my recent stay at Ginkgo Maison D'Hôtes for New Year, I was thoroughly impressed by the wonderfully traditional yet modern decor that set a charming tone for the entire experience. The delightful Julie welcomed us with genuine warmth, ensuring a smooth check-in process and catering to our breakfast preferences, which resulted in a delicious continental spread that still has my taste buds reminiscing. Our room, while perched on the top floor requiring a brisk climb up three flights of stairs, was exceptionally laid out with soundproofing that guaranteed our peace, especially beneficial for families with young children. The location was another highlight, allowing for easy access to Amiens' vibrant shopping and dining spots as well as proximity to notable attractions like Jules Verne’s house. With an inviting atmosphere and exceptional service that felt personal, Ginkgo Maison D'Hôtes truly made for a memorable New Year getaway, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone—especially those traveling with family or pets, like my own furry companions.
